To survive we need certain basic daily requirements. Water, food, shelter.

Of course we can survive without them for longer than a day but whenever we do, it is a day spent surviving - and NOT living. We will be tired, drained and often totally ineffective. If you spend many days without these essentials - death is certain.

It's just like that in our walk with the Lord.

If we don't meet with Him and commune with Him and 'walk' with him DAILY......our walk will become cold, meaningless and lifeless. It is vital in our Christian walk to set aside unbreakable appointments with God almighty daily.

We would never consider being late for a job interview or audience with the Queen. So why do we think we can so willfully abandon meeting with God almighty - and still expect Him to bless us, enable us and empower us in our fight against the world, the devil and self?

Spiritual communion with God almighty seldom dies suddenly, but rather, very slowly over weeks, months and even years......of daily negligence's.

Oh how easy it is it get 'busy' with work, family, church - and forget the Almighty and simply add Him to our lives, rather then make Him our 'all and all'.
